“Are you kidding me, Prubbs? This is awesome! I don’t think I’ll even be able to eat it, might end up being another tacopizza situation. Man, this makes my gift look kinda lame, heh.”
He pulled a messily-wrapped box out of his backpack and handed it to her. Inside were about six cupcakes decorated to look like the princess’s face. “PBcakes!”
▬♦◊❤◊♦▬ ❝Aw, thank you, Finn.❞ The princess cooed, genuinely thankful and giddy for the gift. She reached her arms out, enveloping her adventurous friend in an appreciative hug. Who needed romance on Valentines day when you had such a great friend around? PB was content to ditch her duties for the day and spend time with those precious to her, with that thought.
❝You’d better eat that chocolate, though,❞ Bubblegum giggled in amusement, ❝‘cause it’ll just melt when the weather starts to get warmer, then it will become a Finn-puddle.❞
“EXTERMINATE!” Upon seeing her attempted escape, the Drone made sure to remain where it was on the stairs, attempting to fire on the Princess. What the effect would be if it hit was unknown, however. Most living beings were destroyed upon contact, even cyborgs such as the Cybermen. But she was made of something different, yet she still functioned as a living being. It’d just have to wait and see.
Meanwhile, the other Daleks began recovering, the Scientist and Strategist being the first to gain their senses. “SHE REQUIRES THE CHEMICALS TO CREATE. WE NEED ONLY HER TECHNOLOGICAL PROESS! DESTROY THE CHEMICALS! DESTROY THEM!!!”
▬♦◊❤◊♦▬ The princess froze as the beam struck her, tearing right through her stomach. She felt like she was burning, the excruciating pain stabbing recklessly at the point of impact. If it weren’t for the fact that she wrapped her arms around her abdomen, clutching in agony, she would have believed the laser had ripped a hole though her body.
❝Gyah!❞
Wide-eyed, Bubblegum sunk to her knees, her body completely in shock. Her gaping eyes stared down at her knees, vision becoming slightly blurred as her head throbbed. The princess could feel every inch of her become numb; the nervous system no doubt overwhelmed with the feeling of pain. She couldn’t even move her lips to whisper.
